Foxy Brown Gives Lauryn Hill Prison Advice...

Having done jail time herself, does Foxy Brown have any advice for her "good friend" Lauryn Hill?

Speaking with Inside Word 360 collaborator Combat Jack, Foxy admits that she didn't even know that Hill is about to start serving her sentence for tax evasion. But she says that the two of them have a bond as "dark skin" females in hip-hop, and that she will "definitely" reach out to fill her in on prison life. 

Foxy says she'll tell Lauryn that there is really nothing you can do to get ready for jail. "You can't prepare for going into commissary with 400 other girls in greens. Having two outfits, jail suits, for the entire year. Being shackled like a criminal. This is real."

But she doesn't think Lauryn will have any problems with her fellow inmates. When she was in, she says other inmates "didn't step to me. Honestly, you would have thought Obama was in jail. The girls loved me."

Foxy says the trick to staying sane was making sure she was comfortable in her cell. "I had to make my jail stay work for me. My jail cell looked like fashion week. I had every color Chanel sneaker... It was my little domain. That's where I spent 24 hours a day for a year."
