FORBES: World's Most Powerful Celebrities

Forbes magazine has released its Celebrity 100 list of the most powerful celebrities and boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. is tops by a longshot.

The champ, who is appropriately nicknamed Money, earned $300 million over the past year, which was helped by his huge payday for defeating Manny Pacquiao, who actually lands at number-two on the list with earnings of $160 million. Number-three on the list is singer Katy Perry who recorded earnings of $135 million, followed by boy band One Direction at number-four and Howard Stern at number-five.

Other celebrities rounding out the top 10 include Garth Brooks and number-six, followed by author James Patterson at number-seven, Robert Downey Jr. and Taylor Swift tied at number-eight, and soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo at number-10.

Beyonce, who topped last year's list, fell to number-29 this year.
