FML STORY OF THE DAY: KILLED OVER FACEBOOK...AND JOAN RVERS CALLS MICHELLE OBAMA..."BLACKIE-O"
A 21-year-old New York woman almost died after being run over -- twice -- by her cousin's car after a feud over a Facebook love interest. Giselle Penagos was left with a broken leg and a shattered pelvis because her cousin Melanie Spanopoulos was upset that Giselle had been in touch with a man who'd rejected her friend request. After Melanie found out, the feud began on a car ride home. Giselle got out of the car, but Melanie continued driving, using it as a weapon.
Earlier this week on a satellite radio show, Joan Rivers joked about Michelle Obama's sense of style and referred to the first lady as "Blackie O." She said she hasn't wanted to tell the joke on stage because she was scared to be called racist -- but then let it fly on national radio.

First of all, Look at who we're talking about. This woman was born during a time when showing respect to black people was not gonna happen. This is not to make any excuses for her this is merely to make Black America aware that things have not changed all that much. We can look at this picture and see that she has her own demons. President Obama and First Lady Michelle are now, and will always be, the first black family in the white house, regardless of what white America thinks about it.

Did she ever refer to Jackie O as "Whitey O" What i truly fail to understand is why was the first lady's race the center of the joke? Why couldn't the overly surgery-ed comedian use the first lady's first name as "Michellie O" why would she not think people would take offense and find it incredibly disrespectful.
