Erykah Badu’s Apology To Iggy Azalea Was Funnier Than Her Tweet

Erykah Badu is a talented singer-songwriter, and for the past 20 years has been a breath of fresh air in a music industry accustomed to recycling music trends.

But in the event the Cain’t Use My Phone artist decides to stop doing music (which we don’t sanction or support) she would have a thriving career as a comedian. Monday night (December 7) during a Twitter Q&A, FatBellyBella hopped on to answer questions from fans. Seven’s mama dropped gems, and fielded a few other questions about her personal life.

But when asked why she made fun of the “Fancy” singer, Badu took the high road to apologize to the Aussie artist on behalf of her daughters who are fans. But in true Erykah fashion, she threw in a few jokes that of course made Twitter LOL.
