ENERGY DRINKS: More Citations of Health Risks

The Food and Drug Administration has been flooded with claims of harmful side effects by people who’ve consumed energy drinks. The latest report claims Rockstar caused 13 people to be rushed to the hospital (in the past 5 years).

Earlier in the week, 5-Hour Energy made headline for being linked to 13 deaths and 33 hospitalizations. Monster Energy Drink was one of the first to get a barrage of negative publicity. The FDA said Monster could be responsible for 5 deaths.

That leaves Red Bull and Amp Energy waiting for the other shoe to drop. The FDA is preparing reports on both these drinks.
