Empire: More super stars to come in Season 2

Empire co-creator Lee Daniels just announced to Access Hollywood that he is writing guest star roles for both Oprah Winfrey, as well as Academy Award-winning rapper Common. (quote) “She's gonna be on it. Oh yeah, for absolutely sure. You heard that first. We're gonna have a good time.”

Common confirmed, (quote) “They shoot Empire in my hometown of Chicago. I saw Lee Daniels at the gym and told him I would be there for him. I’m all about being a part of really quality things.”

Common will bring music to the show. Oprah will not have a singing role.

   The two-hour season finale is this Wednesday.

    Empire has already attracted big names like Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, and Cuba Gooding Jr.

    For those late to the party, starting in August,  FOX will air the 12-hours of Season One repeats in sequence leading up to the fall premiere of Season Two.
