El Debarge Checks Back Into REHAB,,,Cancels All Concerts and Appearances!! Damn!
R&B singer El DeBarge, who has battled drug problems for years, announced today that he has checked into a rehabilitation center.
"I hate to disappoint my fans but it is necessary for me to take the time to work on me so that I may continue to share my music and my story with everyone," DeBarge, 49, said. "I thank everyone in advance for their prayers and well wishes and hope that you will respect my privacy during this time."
In conjunction with the announcement, DeBarge canceled all of his personal appearances.
DeBarge carried two nominations into Sunday's Grammy award ceremony, one for best male R&B vocal performance and one for best R&B song, both for "Second Chance."
The album "Second Chance" was DeBarge's first release in 16 years!

I agree with Karen as well. We all face some type of demons and some are bigger than others. i just pray that he continues to seek help as much as he needs to and don't worry about people bad talking him....who can cast the first stone?? no one! Get the help you need and come on back to us healthy and whole...your TRUE fans love you regardless!

All I have to say is that El DeBarge realizes his "problem" has resurfaced and is taking the necessary steps to take care of it. I give him credit for that. He is NOT IN DENIAL as some other celebs such as say dipstick Lindsey Lohan or stupid dipstick Charlie Sheen.
