DRAKE: Blast From the Past

Drake’s at the top of the music game these days, but he still remembers when he had to ask his mom for money to buy jeans.

Dizzy recently stumbled upon a letter her wrote his mom in 2006. In it, he apologizes for going ham on eBay with her credit card and says that to make it up, he’s cancelled subscriptions and will fully reimburse her through “several methods and/or means of payment.” He signs the note, "Your Biz Partner."

In the caption, Drake confesses, “EBay was the addiction back in 2006. Def come a long way and it’s safe to say I most likely settled this debt. #NothingWithoutMyMom #IProbablyBoughtSomeEvisuJeans.”

Say What:

Finding this letter was probably pretty humbling, considering he's in the position now where he can buy his mom houses and cars.

What were you spending your money on 10 years ago?

10 years ago he was still a teenager.

A lot can change in a decade.

Buying fancy jeans with Mom's credit card isn't exactly starting from the bottom.

Drake has said in the past that his paycheck for Degrassi wasn't all that impressive.
