Dr. Dre is Losing Millions Because Of Bootlegging

Dr. Dr ,who just made over a billion dollars selling off Beats headphones, wants to stop counterfeit Beats stealing his reputation. These knockoff products are said to be coming in from China. And according to TMZ, Beats is suing the alleged counterfeiters for what could be a small fortune.

In the lawsuit, a nefarious group of unnamed websites based in China is being said to be getting rich by selling cheaply-made, bootleg headphones, bearing the red "b" logo. Allegedly the Chinese company is making well over $135 billion in revenue. 

Beats has an interest in protecting its trademark for inferior products that can ruin its reputation among celebrities and the average consumer.

The lawsuit is seeking to stop all sales of the knockoffs and to take down all of the websites that are selling the bootlegged products.

Beats also wants ALL of the money made from the counterfeit sales.
