DR. DRE: Handcuffed Over Road Rage

Dr. Dre got handcuffed and patted down in an alleged case of “road rage” — and he wasn’t even driving at the time!

TMZ reports that Dre got into an argument with a driver parked in front of his driveway. The motorist pulled off the highway and was pulled over by Dre’s place when the West Coast legend came out and personally asked him to move. The guy put his car into drive and rolled a few feet over — cursing out the Doc as he did it. Dre reportedly pulled out his cell phone to record the driver’s demeanor while the guy behind the wheel allegedly called 911 to report that a gun was pulled on him.

When cops got to the scene, they listened to both men’s stories and cuffed Dre while they searched to see if he had a firearm on his person. When the search failed to turn up a gun, cops told the producer he was good to go. Meanwhile, the other guy insisted on filing a report detailing his allegations.

    Did the guy really think Dre had a gun?

    We're just glad this didn't wind up getting violent.

    Dre needs to hire security to deal with any issues that arise instead of getting involved personally.
