DMX: Robs a man in New Jersey (allegedly)

Police are investigating reports that DMX robbed a man at a New Jersey gas station early Sunday morning. A 21-year-old man told Newark police that the rapper and his entourage muscled him out of $3,200 in cash at an Exxon station just after midnight this (Sunday) morning.

The victim told police the conflict began after he recognized the rap star and started a conversation about music. During the chat, a member of X’s entourage allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded the victim’s money. After the man pulled a wad of cash from his pocket, DMX took it and sped off, leading a fleet of four black Cadillac Escalades.

The alleged victim tailed DMX and his crew after they robbed him and got the license plate number of one vehicle. No arrests have been made as of Sunday evening. (WPIX)
