DMX: Arrested for Unpaid Child Support

DMX was arrested on Monday for unpaid child support.

X will spend six months behind bars in Buffalo, New York after failing to comply with a family court ruling. While the rapper has a long history of run-ins with the law -- taken in just a couple of weeks ago in New York City on the same charges -- he hasn’t done hard time since 2011 when he served seven months in Arizona. Say What:

    Bet he’s regretting not cutting those checks now — it’s not like he's getting paid to play shows while he sits in jail.

    Maybe the time will do him some good. X has plenty of issues that he needs to sort out.

    The court has given him plenty of opportunities to settle his debt in the past.

    Even though a lien was placed on his royalty earnings, X was apparently determined not to pay anything beyond what was taken out of his paycheck.

    Keep your head up, X.

    If he's lucky, he'll get out in time for the holidays.
