Did Ariel Castro Die of Auto-Erotic Asphyxiation

Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro may not have committed suicide in prison after all -- authorities say he may have died while attempting auto-erotic asphyxiation. 

A report from Ohio prison authorities suggests -- but doesn't conclude -- that Castro wasn't trying to kill himself but was attempting to experience sexual satisfaction while choking himself into unconsciousness. They note that his pants and underwear were around his ankles, and he did not leave a suicide note. However, he'd positioned a bible and photos of his family around his cell, and the coroner tells the Cleveland Plain Dealer that she saw no signs of asphyxiation.

Castro was convicted on numerous charges after holding three women as sexual slaves for a decade. He was found dead in his cell on September 3rd.
