DERRICK ROSE: Responds to Gang Rape Allegations

Derrick Rose is firing back against allegations that he and two friends drugged and gang-raped an ex-girlfriend.

The Chicago Bulls star’s attorney calls the lawsuit “an attempt to shake down a highly respected and successful athlete.” Lisa Cohen says that her client and the accuser were in a “non-exclusive, consensual sexual relationship for over two years.” She says there were never any complaints made until lawyers started encouraging the victim to take Rose to court.

Rose’s counsel notes that his accuser has now hired three different lawyers in hopes of an easy payday. Cohen calls the lawsuit ridiculous and expects to see the case dismissed. (TMZ)
