DAVID LETTERMAN: Last Late Night Tonight

David Letterman bids farewell to The Late Show tonight (Wednesday) after 22 years.

Details on the finale are scant. CBS has only promised that it will be an "hour filled with surprises, memorable highlights, the show’s final Top 10 List and more."

Fans are hoping Dave's old frenemy Jay Leno is among those surprises. Dave's producers reportedly invited Jay, but since Dave declined an invite to appear on Leno's final Tonight Show in 2014, it seems unlikely. Jay was already Craig Ferguson's final guest on The Late Late Show last year.
