Date Problem...Can You Help Her?

I started dating this guy who is 10+ yrs younger than me on cougar dating site KISSCOUGAR (dot com). He was the initiator and had no problem with my age. I look younger than my age (47). He seems to be very mature for his age and he's very sweet. The problem is he thinks it's funny to call me a Cougar. I don't like it the to me it sends mixed messages as the relationship is new. He also gets in these places when we are on chat where I will say ok I'm trying to ask you something and he will come back with Yes Mommy, mommy always knows best. I really got tired of it because the more I asked him to stop he laughed (immature). I signed out & after I cooled I sent him a text. Telling him that I do not like the word Cougar & calling me Mommy it sends me mixed msgs and if you are interested in me, Mommy should not even come into it so if you do feel this way maybe someone your own age would work better for you. He responded with " well then just leave me alone then". It's not even the so much leave me alone but am I wrong to be considered an equal if we are dating, then what's the point if he is going to think this is a joke. Please any advice would be appreciated.
