DARKNESS IS SPREADING!!! Not So Much...

Akon and Nigerian recording artist Wizkid are under fire for allegedly turning down dark-skinned girls for a music video shoot in Ghana.

According to celebrity site Fashion Ghana, directors for the video requested "'light-skinned and half-caste" women. One model claims that on the day of the shoot, some girls were asked to leave.

Unsurprisingly, the African community has been critical. One unimpressed fan says, "Sad, and that all deals with self-hatred. But these people would never admit it."

The video would be for one of the tracks off of Akon's Stadium, which has been slated for release this year but doesn't have a firm street date.
