Chief Keef In JAIL...Again!

Chicago rapper Chief Keef was detained by Chicago police today shortly after paying a speeding ticket.

The rapper, whose real name is Keith Cozart, pleaded guilty this morning to a speeding charge. He was ordered to pay $531 in fines and put on probation for 18 months. Cozart was also ordered to perform 60 hours of community service.

“I think you think you’re invincible, and you’re certainly not,” Cook County Circuit Court Judge Earl Hoffenberg chastised Keef. “Violate [conditions of the plea agreement] and you’ll find out you’re not. I sure hope I don’t see you again, because if I do you better be ready to go to jail.”

“I’m really not sympathetic to people who don’t listen to me,” the judge added.

As the 17-year-old rapper, whose real name is Keith Cozart, drove away form the courthouse, he was stopped and arrested by Chicago police on an unspecified charge. Cozart was taken to Grand Crossing District station, on Chicago’s South Side, where he is still being processed, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Cozart was arrested on May 20 at the Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter hotel in Dunwoody, GA., a suburb north of Atlanta, after hotel staff alerted police to the pungent aroma of chronic coming from Cozart’s hotel room.

Also in May, Cozart was ordered to pay his 15-year-old baby mama child support.
