According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Keef broke into tears several times during the hearing and begged for forgiveness, but Judge Carl Anthony Walker said he couldn't overlook the teen's "blatant violations of the court's order." Keef was accused of violating his conviction on gun charges after he filmed a segment for Pitchfork magazine at a gun range.
The rapper, born Keith Cozart, began serving his sentence immediately after leaving the courtroom. His manager said he would release a new single later today.
Kenny Says:
A lot of people are going to be happy that Chief Keef is going away. But I am not going to hate on a 17 Year Old child. He has alot of growing up to do. I blame some of this on his team. His manager /handlers were not looking out for his best interest. When you have a raw talent this young he needs coaching. Plus everyone is eating on this kid. The least you can do is make sure the goose continues to lay the golden eggs!
