CASH MONEY UPDATE

One Cash Money artist has finally managed to do what none of his peers could -- get paid by the label.

Cash Money Records and Money Mack settled out-of-court with former artist Turk, who's asked for his suit to be dismissed. Though terms of the settlement have not been released, both sides agreed to pay their own legal costs and fees. The New Orleans rapper was originally seeking $1.3 million for unpaid royalties and publishing.

Tyga’s latest business move has his boss Birdman fuming -- Cash Money sources say the label head lost it when T-Raww decided to release his latest album for free.

Those close to Baby say he thinks The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty could have moved a lot more than 2200 copies in its first week if only Tyga hadn't released it on free streaming services. After all, his last record sold almost half a million units.

Birdman apparently feels Tyga pulled the “childish stunt” to get out of his deal and to go sign with Lil Wayne. If that’s the plan, he might be in trouble, as the label doesn’t plan to count this album toward the fulfillment of the rapper’s contract and is prepared to take him to court. (TMZ)

Lil Wayne and Birdman’s long-running legal battle has gotten physical.

Weezy was performing at Miami’s Club LIV on Sunday night when his estranged boss decided to show just how he felt. A drink got hurled from a VIP booth above the stage, pouring liquid all over Wayne’s head.

While Birdman was not caught on camera throwing the drink, eyewitnesses say he was the one who did it. In a video clip posted, Wayne looks up the balcony after getting hit, only to get stared down by Baby and his associates. (TMZ)
