Police are looking for anyone who might have seen or heard the late night shots that left a TSU retiree dead on his own front porch.
Detectives were on the scene Friday at a residence in the 3200 block of Moorewood Drive, where the body of Ed Wisdom Jr. was found shot to death.
Wisdom, 71, had lived at the Moorewood Drive home for 37 years and retired as director of TSU's Management Information Systems graduate program in February.
Those who knew Ed Wisdom Jr. say he was a stand up guy and a well-respected member of the community.
Police say a neighbor reported hearing gunshots around 2 a.m. Friday and saw two men walking toward Richmond Hill Drive.
Wisdom was discovered dead on his front porch at 12:30 p.m. and was originally thought to have died of natural causes, but the medical examiner found bullet wounds.
Police say at this time they don't have any suspects or a motive.
There's a 1-thousand dollar reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
