Definitely not what I would expect from Brian McKnight...... musically. But he is GROWN, therefore free to "sing" about what ever he wants to. Some of these kids half his age are singing & rapping about a lot worse and nobody even cares. That said, when did it become acceptable for foul & sexually explicit lyrics in R&B music. There used to be a time when you could "creatively" say certain things in a song without being so sexually overt. Marvin and Prince used a cuss word every now & then in a song but they were the exception. Now it's the rule. Male & female artists are being explicit now, even in fast songs. It's getting ridiculous. I'm no prude but I can only take so much in my hip-hop these days because that's all they seem to be talking about anyway. Now I gotta hear it in my R&B too? Will somebody PLEASE bring back REAL R&B?
