BRANDY: Appearing in Chicago on Broadway

As she gets ready to show the world what she can do on Broadway, Brandy stopped by the Today show this week to promote her upcoming role.

The singer will be playing Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning musical Chicago starting next week. During her morning show appearance, she showed off some of the new choreography she's learned while singing the tune "Roxie" with the rest of the musical's cast.

"I'm excited, I'm nervous. The child has awakened in me," Brandy told Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer. "It's just been such a great experience. I'm so thankful for it."

Brandy's run on Broadway will begin April 28th and goes until June 21st. She will also star in BET’s new scripted comedy Zoe Moon about “a newly divorced single mom embarking on her new life and career as a fledgling cosmetics mogul.”

    We already know Brandy can sing and act, but let's see if she can keep up with the demands of Broadway.
