Bow Wow says his engagement to Erica Mena isn't a publicity stunt

Erica spilled the beans with ThisIs50.com on the red carpet at this weekend's BET Hip-Hop Awards. But very quickly, the Interwebs started questioning the authenticity of the relationship.  

But the rapper, who now prefers to go by Shad Moss, tells Vibe, "I've never been the type of person that does anything for publicity. I don’t need it. I’m on TV every day. That’s my fiance on everything. I think what a lot of people don’t realize is me and Erica been knowing each other for years. It was just like the Pisces-Scorpio connection. You meet somebody like that, the bond is right, then you have to go ahead and make it do what it do."

**  Is that how this generation chooses their spouses?
