Bill O’Reilly Draws Backlash for Comments on ‘WELL FED’ SLAVES
While addressing First Lady Michelle Obama's remarks about slaves having built the White House, Bill O’Reilly said Tuesday on his Fox News program that those slaves were “well fed and had decent lodgings provided by the government.” His response drew swift rebukes online.
In a 90-second segment near the end of his show, Mr. O’Reilly delved into the history of the White House dating to George Washington’s selecting the site for it in 1791. Mr. O’Reilly, a conservative pundit and the author of historical books like “Killing Kennedy,” appeared to be attempting to fact-check a statement the first lady made on Monday at the Democratic National Convention, calling her words “a positive comment” and adding that “the history behind her remark is fascinating.”
“Slaves that worked there were well fed and had decent lodgings provided by the government, which stopped hiring slave labor in 1802,” he said. “However, the feds did not forbid subcontractors from using slave labor. So, Michelle Obama is essentially correct in citing slaves as builders of the White House, but there were others working, as well.”

The clever discussion opener, the bounce back and forth setup. I pray every day my people understand the REAL DEAL and in a hurry. My people actually get really upset at the wrong people. No need to get upset but when you do aim it at the right individuals for opening the damned door. These folks mean you no good their platform is to help fuel a race war PERIOD. The only good thing about it is subliminally minds know there is something going on behind the scenes allowing for a race war to not go down. If it wasn't for our spiritual minds many things would have already taken place not for the good. Sit back and analysis all other races and their mentalities if placed under such cruel treatment all out war would have gone down the Nubian and Hispanic races have a cherished place, I'm only keeping it real (nothing against the other races but our true nature is not one of war its of peace even when placed in conditions as we have endured for decades and decades). Sadly you do have some with dark skin (many who are not TRUE. Nubian's) commissioned to cause chaos as we see here.
