Bill Cosby's Attorney Monique Pressley Withdraws From Case

Bill Cosby reportedly lost the star player of his legal team, leaving the embattled comedian's criminal sexual assault case in jeopardy.

Monique Pressley, who owned the media on Cosby's behalf over the past year, is no longer representing the television icon. She is the second attorney to do so.

No reason was made public, however, court documents revealed Pressley withdrew from Cosby's case filed in Pennsylvania, reports Deadline.

Pressley was the face of the Cosby defense team, going on news programs defending the actor--and doing so quite effectively. She quickly gained a reputation for her sharp and wit retorts.
