BIG KRIT: Big Debut

The good news: Big Krit's Caddilactica is the nation's number-five album. The bad news: It sold only 43,000 copies, according to the latest SoundScan figures.

Country-turned-pop star Taylor Swift once again takes the top spot with 1989. Entering the charts at number sixteen is Whitney Houston’s Whitney Live, which saw sales of 21,000. And in its fourth week on the charts, T.I.’s Paperwork lands at number-32 with sales of just over 10,000. 

The Quickies:

*  Maybe 43k isn't so bad for a first week for a rapper anymore. 

*  T.I. has two hits on his album and he's almost off the charts after four weeks. 

* Taylor Swift has the only platinum album of 2014. So it's not just hip-hop.
