It happened three days ago but Beyonce’s controversial Super Bowl performance continues to divide the country.
A group of individuals who were so offended by what they called a “race-baiting stunt” and a “slap in the fact to law enforcement” are planning to turn their passion into a protest. An online posting is looking to rally folks together for a demonstration outside of the NFL headquarters to show the league they “don’t want hate speech and racism at the Super Bowl ever again.” The protest is planned for next Tuesday in New York City.
Meanwhile, the #BeyHive is also planning something: a so called Anti Anti-Beyonce rally in the same place at the same time. The pro-Beyonce folks are looking for a positive gathering where fans can celebrate Beyonce, “Formation” and the song’s message.
Say What:
It just shows you how serious Beyonce's star-power is that she can have such a polarizing effect on people.
What does boycotting the NFL really mean when the season is over and doesn't start up again until fall?
