BANK ROBBERY FAIL: Robber Has to be Cut From Air Duct

A wig-wearing bank robber almost got way with $100,000 after robbing a suburban Chicago bank vault -- until he got stuck in an air duct and had to be cut out by authorities early yesterday.

38-year-old Charles Estell was found in the air duct of an office located next to the bank. He had allegedly robbed the bank Saturday afternoon with about $100,000 stuffed into his backpack and attempted to escape through the ceiling. Authorities searched for him for hours before finding him at about 1 a.m. yesterday stuck in the air duct. Authorities had to take off his wig of beaded dreadlocks before they were able to cut him loose.
