B.B. KING: Was Not Poisoned

The Clark County Coroner in Las Vegas has concluded that B.B. King died of natural causes and was not poisoned by his manager as some of his daughters claimed. The primary cause of death was Alzheimer’s disease along with diabetes and congestive heart failure.

Coroner John Fudenberg says, “At this point we can say with confidence that Mr. King died of natural causes. Our condolences go out to the family and many friends of Mr. King, and we hope this determination brings them some measure of closure.”

King died on May 14th at the age of 89 at his home in Las Vegas.
