August Alsina was in St. Louis this weekend to perform at the State of Emergency 2 concert promoting non-violence, but that didn't stop him from getting into a backstage brawl with a promoter after the show.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Alsina and his posse can be seen exchanging words with Loose Cannon Slim, the promoter who put on the show to benefit the Put Down the Pistol program. Slim was apparently upset that Alsina had showed up late for the concert, which was also scheduled to feature Migos, Fabolous and Yo Gotti. After the two exchanged words, Alsina's security attacked the promoter, and the singer even kicked him several times after he was thrown to the floor.

Fighting...at the Peace Rally...Ooooo Kaaaayyy!!

Miracle it didn't escalate beyond a few punches and kicks.

Wonder how much of the money made that night is actually going to get in the hands of any programs.
