ASHLEY MADISON: Hackers Leak User Information

The group behind the data breach made good on their threat yesterday.

Hackers behind the massive data breach of cheating website Ashley Madison are making good on their threat to leak its users' personal information.

The group leaked the information of approximately 32 million users yesterday, including email addresses, log-in passwords, personal likes and dislikes, and credit card details -- but not credit card numbers. The information goes back to 2007. The leak also revealed that, of the millions of users, 15,000 of them have government email addresses. Hackers had threatened last month to publicly leak the information if the website wasn't taken down. (Wired)

Say Whaaaaat:

The user information is out there, so gentlemen, start your apologies.

The information has been leaked online, but it may still be hard to figure out of your partner was an Ashley Madison user.

Of the millions of identities leaked, many may be fake profiles or profiles that were created but never actually used.
