I wanted to remind you of the deadline for the Angel Food boxes for this
month. I will be accepting orders until Tuesday, October 19, 2010.
The distribution date is Saturday, October 23, 2010. Payments accepted
are cash, check, money order, debit/credit card, EBT (FS) and Angel Food
Gift Card. You can go online, www.angelfoodministries.com, and place
your order if you are paying with debit or credit card. There is a $2
processing fee. Please keep in mind that taxes are now being added to the boxes, 7.75% if you are not using EBT (FS).
I also wanted to send out a challenge. If you notice there are Thanksgiving and Christmas food
boxes. Not everyone will be able to have that special meal and I
challenge you to donate to a needy family. This can be someone that you
know or someone that you do not know. You can order the box yourself
online and just enter the information so that I will know who you would
like to receive the box. If you would rather email me the information
that is fine. I'm aware that everyone is not able to participate or you may
already have planned to donate to another program and that is fine. I
just wanted to be able to assist those that may be in need. I can order
the boxes now but the Thanksgiving box will come in in November and the
Christmas box will come in in December.
You do not have to wait until the holiday to bless someone.
