Amber Rose Says She Probably Shouldn’t Have Participated In “Dancing With The Stars”

Amber Rose was eliminated from “Dancing With The Stars.” In an interview with E! News, she explained that the decision to participate in the competition might not have been the best one for her.

Rose said that on Monday, she knew that it would be her last time performing.

“Tonight I felt it. Tonight I prepared myself, honestly, because if I didn’t prepare myself I would’ve seriously been crying right now.”

Bawling” her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy interjected.

Rose agreed. “Bawling. I’m probably going to go to my trailer and cry after this.”

The two received a 28 out of 30 on their last performance, a Cha-cha. But the American public wasn’t convinced.

Surprisingly, Amber said, “I’m not really good with a lot of attention. I probably shouldn’t have done this show, but whatever. I’m just not good with a lot of eyes on me and a lot of ‘Oh, you’re doing great, everything’s good.’

Maksim said that from their third day dancing together, Amber was expressing her concerns. When he was teaching her the Foxtrot, he said she told him, “I don’t know, Maks. I don’t know man, this is just so hard. Tell me this is the hardest dance we’ll ever have to do.”

He said he didn’t even answer her.

Still, Rose has said she’s learned a lot from the experience. Rose said the most useful thing she’s gained from the show is that she knows how to do dances now and can even identify them because of the show.

When you first read the headline, it would seem that Amber was bitter about the experience. But quite the contrary. She was very deeply invested and being that she’s so emotional, she didn’t know if it was the best thing for her. Still, the part about her saying she doesn’t like a whole lot of attention or eyes on her is surprising considering not only her background as a stripper but the years she’s spent in the public eye. Then again, there have been plenty of starlets who weren’t always comfortable in the limelight.
