Alicia Keys Channels Drake On New Song 'In Common'

Combining a production similar to Drake's mega-hit "Take Care" and the vocal stylings of former Danity Kane songstress Dawn Richard, "In Common" sees A. Keys take a step away from her standard balladry and push forward an atmospheric R&B cut. Gone is the big piano break and instead comes an experimental mid-tempo tune about dealing with a troublesome lover. "In Common" was written by Keys, Illangelo, Tayla Parks, Billy Walsh and produced by Illangelo.

It's a big week for Keys fans, considering the singer is set to take the Studio 8H stage this weekend to perform on the Brie Larson-hosted episode of "Saturday Night Live." Along with the release of "In Common," the 35-year-old singer released a new promotional image, which sees the vocal titan without any glitz or glam.
