AFFORDABLE, DISNEY-THEMED PROSTHETICS FOR KIDS

Disney has just announced a partnership with bionics firm Open Bionics to create Frozen, Iron Man, and Star Wars-themed prosthetic arms and hands for kids. And the best part is that these bionic limbs are actually affordable.

The internet exploded when a video of Robert Downey Jr. personally delivered an Iron Man bionic arm to a 7-year-old boy named Alex, and now Disney is broadening the line. The prosthetics are all custom-made to fit each individual child and then 3-D printed.

The Disney-themed prosthetics start at $500, which is a fraction of the tens of thousands of dollars these bionic limbs typically cost.
