LOWE'S: Three Fired for Granting Customer's Racist Request

Three managers at a Lowe's Home Improvement store in Virginia have been fired after they fulfilled a customer's racist request.

Delivery driver Marcus Bradley was on his way to the customer's house when he was suddenly called back by the store. He was told by his superiors that the customer didn't want a black driver coming to her house and that they sent a white driver instead. Steve Salazar, a senior vice president at Lowe's says, "We have no tolerance for discrimination of any kind" and the company acted swiftly to remove the employees who made the decision.

Salazar also personally visited Bradley to apologize. He says, "We want to make sure our drivers know they have our full support." Meanwhile, Bradley says he has no hard feelings toward the company and has no plans to leave. The customer who made the racist demand has not apologized. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)
