here are some people who really don't want Rick Ross to perform in Detroit. About 150 of them got together on Saturday night to form a "human blockade" and allegedly threatened the Miami rapper's life, preventing him from entering Detroit's Chene Park where he was supposed to perform at Saturday night's Summer Jamz 17.

According to a statement released from the venue, the blockade was "led by a local rapper," whose name was not mentioned. And despite those alleged death threats, Detroit police say that there were no 911 calls made from the venue at the time of the incident.

David Rudolph, a spokesperson for The Right Productions and Chene Park, said there were no problems inside the venue. "This issue didn't happen within Chene Park; it happened outside. And it's unfortunate that this was a tactic to prevent another artist performing."

Rozay took to Twitter after the incident and wrote, "Love #Detroit I wuz ready to killm 2nite, heard it wuz a peace protest with picket signs and locked gates."
