The Miami Heat were probably feeling confident after taking one game in San Antonio and coming back to Miami for Game 3. That confidence was shattered by the Spurs Tuesday night, who came out on fire and didn't let up.
The Spurs were 13 for 15, shooting an incredible 86.7 percent in the first quarter and shot 75.8 percent in the first half, going 25 for 33. That's the best shooting percentage any team has had against the Heat in their 26-year history and set an NBA Finals records.
The Spurs also racked up some other impressive feats. Their 41 first quarter points were the most by any team in the first quarter of a Finals game since Game 6 of the 1967 Finals.
