GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN: Spurs Protests at Washington Monuments

The government is still shut down and some people are mad as hell and aren't going to take it anymore -- or at least thousands of them showed up at the White House and other Washington monuments to protest on Sunday.
Others, including Tea Party rebel rousers Senator Ted Cruz and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin turned up to help turn up the heat on President Obama and the Democrats to sign off on opening parts of the government. That's an interesting turn of events considering that many accuse the Tea Party for causing the shutdown by pushing for restrictions on the president's new healthcare plan. Whatever the case, Cruz and Palin tried their hardest to direct any anger the public has about the shutdown toward the president.
