Florida woman sentenced to 20 years for firing warning shot at husband FINALLY granted New Trial

A Tallahassee woman who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for firing a warning shot at her estranged husband will get a new trial, Yahoo news reports.
A Florida state of appeals ruled Marissa Alexander is entitled to a new trial “because the judge failed to properly instruct the jury regarding her claim of self-defense,” Yahoo News reports.
