MARVIN GAYE: Son Publicly Asks for Organ Transplant

Marvin Gaye the Third isn't only fighting a legal battle with Robin Thicke, Pharrell and T.I. over “Blurred Lines” -- he's also fighting for his life and is publicly asking for help.
The son of the late soul legend is dealing with kidney failure and is in need of a transplant. Gaye has been on dialysis for more than three years and has decided to come forward in hopes of bringing attention to the difficulty blacks and Hispanics have with finding organ donors.
Gaye plans to donate proceeds from his upcoming album to a kidney research organization.
