BOSTON BOMBINGS: Feds Says Friends Tried to Cover Tracks

More information has come to light about the three University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth students arrested on Wednesday in connection to the Boston Marathon bombings.

Investigators say the trio took items from suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's dorm room in an attempted to cover for him. The items Azamat Tazhayakov, Dias Kadyrbayev and Robel Phillipos allegedly removed include a laptop, some empty fireworks and a jar of Vaseline.

According to FBI affidavits, the friends recognized Tsarnaev from the photos and video that circulated following the bombing. When Kadyrbayev questioned him about them via text message, Tsarnaev wrote back, "lol" and added, "come to my room and take whatever you want."

Kadyrbayev and the two others took Tsarnaev up on the offer and now have a lot of explaining to do.
