Amber & Wiz Take Heat For Posting Photos Of Their Baby In Pot Socks

We haven’t even had the chance to see the face of lil Sebastian just yet and already the baby has been thrust into some controversy!

Over the weekend, Amber Rose caused an uproar and a huge debate on Twitter and Instagram after she uploaded a photo of her baby “Bash” wearing weed socks with the caption, “Like father like son #HUFsocks  .”The reaction to the photo ranged from absolute disgust to “what is the big deal?”  One guy commented, “They’re just socks you guys are acting like he’s putting a blunt to the baby mouth calm down.”

Even talk show host Wendy Williams had something to say when it was time to discuss her Hot Topics on Monday.  She chimed in:

So here’s my thought: Sebastian is only less than two months old and I get it that Wiz loves to smoke his weed, I get it that Marijuana is about to soon be legalized everywhere but I think it’s going too far by posting this picture. And I”m no cornball, I’m a cool lady especially at home when I do at home things, but there’s some things that are supposed to be at home things. If you want to have the kid wear his marijuana leaves on his socks like that [...] that’s closed door conversation. Oh you crazy kids…

This is kind of not shocking at all considering Amber and Wiz have already discussed that their baby would grow up around weed but learn that it’s something that only adults should engage in.  During an interview Wiz said:

Of course, I’m not going to be smoking right there over the baby, because smoke in general and being high is not good for a kid. None of that. But definitely he’s going to know what it is – and he’ll know the difference between being a child and not being able to use it and being an adult and knowing how to use it.

While Amber added:

It’s just like alcohol, basically. That’s how I feel about it, you know. When you’re a kid, you know that you’re not supposed to drink alcohol, that it’s for adults and that’s it. Our son is just going to know that daddy likes to smoke.

 Meanwhile, Amber gave critics of the pot socks a glass of shut the f-ck up on Twitter when she tweeted:

It’s funny how every1 turns into a doctor when it comes 2 some1 else’s baby. Relax, Sit back & take a shot of shutthefuckup thx 

Different strokes for different folks. On the bright side of things, the lil guy will grow out of those socks long before he knows what pot is
