Fantasia is not Happy with Jet Magazine

Last week, her upcoming JET cover hit the net with some teaser quotes about Fantasia living the single life, however according to Fantasia, the photo that the publication decided to use for the cover was not approved before being published.  As always, Instagram and Twitter, is the new press release and it was there that Fantasia let it be known that she was not happy:

This saddens Me!!! It is clear that this picture is 10 Years Old and JET Magazine puts it on the Cover!! After I send them the NEW LOOK AND DIRECTION. . SAD!!! I WANT A PUBLIC APOLOGY FROM JET. Now im not sure if the interview is correct. SEE!! America they and use me as they crash Dummy BUT NO MORE. IF I DONT STAND FOR SOMETHING ILL FALL FOR ANYTHING.

Granted, as an artist who wants to control her brand, she has every right to be upset.  Both Mary J. Blige and Kanye West has blasted magazines in the past for publishing photos they didn’t approve of on their covers.

The good news is, Fantasia is gearing up to release the video for “Born To Win,” the lead single off of her forthcoming album, The Side Effects Of You, very soon.
