DISNEYLAND: Family Claims White Rabbit is Racist

    An African-American family from San Diego is suing Disneyland after their children were allegedly given the cold shoulder by the White Rabbit character from Alice in Wonderland because of the color of their skin. According to Jason and Annelia Black, the actor in the White Rabbit costume was impatient with their children and refused to touch them, but when some white children walked up to the character, its behavior changed noticeably. Jason Black said, "There were two other kids that came up. The rabbit showered them. Hugged them, kissed them, posed with them, and took pictures. Meanwhile, that made my kids feel horrible." After the Blacks complained, they say they were offered VIP passes and $500 to sign a confidentiality agreement, but they balked at both offers. Now they want a public apology and the person in the White Rabbit costume to be given the boot.
