KERRY WASHINGTON: Wins Big at Image Awards

     Kerry Washington was the big winner at Friday night’s 44th annual NAACP Image Awards. The actress grabbed three prizes  Outstanding Actress in a Series for Scandal, Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for Django Unchained and the President’s Award, which honored her public service. Other winners included Red Tails for Best Picture and Denzel Washington for Best Actor in Flight. In the TV categories, LL Cool J was named Best Actor in a TV Series for NCIS: Los Angeles, Cassie Davis earned Best Actress for Tyler Perry’s House of Pain and BET’s The Game was named top comedy series.
