EMPIRE STATE BUILDING: Gunman Shoots, Dies

An unidentified gunman opened fire on the street in front of New York's landmark Empire State Building a little before 9 am this morning (Friday), and injured at least ten people. Early word from CNN is that the gunman was shot and killed by police responding to the emergency call. More details as they emerge.
