RUSSELL SIMMONS: Headed to American Idol?

Is Russell Simmons headed to American Idol? Judging from the his Twitter account, he's at least considering going the show. On Monday, Simmons Tweeted, "Everyone says I should do American Idol. My charities could use that money. What do you think?"

And on Sunday, Simmons seemed to have dropped another hint when he Tweeted, "I'm sorry from Beastie Boys to Jay-Z. I'll [mess] with Idol. I'm highly opinionated. My charities need dat job."
