2 Killed at the SXSW Convention Last Night :(

A drunk driver trying to elude police plowed his car into a crowd of people at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas overnight, killing two people and injuring two dozen.  Police say they tried to stop the driver who was headed the wrong way on a one-way street when he suddenly sped off and drove right into the crowd in front of a nightclub. The two people killed, a man and a woman, were each riding mopeds. Five of the injured are in critical condition.

The suspect, who attempted to flee on foot, was taken into custody and faces two counts of capital murder. (Rolling Stone)
